Funny Old World
It’s all doom and gloom at the moment isn’t it, what with the economy as it is, unemployment at record levels, no one has any money; food, fuel, energy bills etc all cost so much! Bah!
But some people need to have some perspective here. Let us for one second spare a thought for the families of the British soldiers that have recently lost their lives in Afghanistan.
Young soldiers losing their lives so young. And for what? For Queen and country? The Government have a lot to answer for on many issues, but this one is indefensible.
In time the economy will sort itself out, but the ‘war on terror’ will never go away.
